Errors and warnings for local variants

This section quotes all errors and warnings that might occur for local variantes for library elements .

Could not create variant for "name".
Solution: Check the views "Error Log" and "Problems" for further information.

A variant for "name" already exists in "name".
logi.CAD 3 supports one local variant per library element only.
Solution, if you want to create a new local variant of the library element: Delete the already existing variant. Then create the new variant.
Additionally recommended: Change the display preferences for the local variants so that the originals are hidden in the library (= default behavior).

Library "name" does not exist.
or
Element "name" does not exist in library "name".
Solution 1: Install the specified library for the project. Details: see "Deploying the library"
Solution 2: Delete the local variant for which this message is displayed.

Name of variant "name" does not correspond to referenced element "name".
Solution 1: Rename the local variant so that its name corresponds to the referenced element. Save the changes
Solution 2, if the error is still displayed and in order to obtain an edition free of errors: Replace the local variant with an edition from the local history (provided this edition is not faulty).

A variant can only contain a single element.
Solution, if the message is displayed for an ST-object: Delete all supernumerary declarations within the local variant. If you require these declarations for the local variant, declare the elements within separate ST-objects.
