Transitions in FBD

Use →transitions in order to create a step sequence (an →SFC network).
Several transitions are allowed per SFC network. See the notes under SFC elements in drawing field how to create/use SFC networks efficiently and correctly.

Each transition requires at least one predecessor step, one successor step and one transition condition.

Lines visualize the connections to the other FBD-elements in the drawing field.

Example for a transition, the name of the transition is not visible:

The transition input in is located on the top edge, the transition output out on the bottom edge, the input for the transition condition T on the left edge.
The transition input and the transition output are connected to →steps, the input for the transition condition is connected to a Boolean →variable or →literal (e.g. a →value field containing a Boolean variable).

In this case and for information about the changed representation, please contact your system integrator.
