I am viewing an ST-element. How to go quickly to its declaration? How to find all its references?
Using command in ST-editor
Click into the appropriate element in the ST-editor, open the context menu and select one of the following commands:
Command |
Purpose |
More details under |
Open declaration |
goes to the declaration of the element (if there is any). |
|
Find References |
lists the references of the element in Search view (if there are any). |
Changing from views to declaration
Use the shown views (e.g. Instances view): Double-click an item in it. If possible, logi.CAD 3 goes to the appropriate declaration.
Quickly going to a declared element
The command Open Model Element (in menu Navigate) provides another possibility to quickly go to a declared element (e.g. →variable, →function block) in the ST-editor.
logi.cals recommends to install and use the most current versions of logi.CAD 3 and the runtime system so that the latest features and problem fixes according to the release notes are provided in the used version.
