Highlighting the errors and warnings in the global-variables-editor

  • After the global-object is opened in the →graphical editor , the faulty global variables are highlighted accordingly. Of course, this highlighting is displayed at once when working in the graphical editor, if your modifications are causing an error or a warning.
Errors are highlighted by the icon images/download/attachments/405733678/IconError-version-1-modificationdate-1529909643654-api-v2.png , warnings by the icon images/download/attachments/406487158/IconWarning-version-1-modificationdate-1530101469876-api-v2.png .
If you move the mouse pointer over the highlighted error or warning, a message details the error or warning (see "Errors and warnings in the global-variables-editor" for a list of these messages ).

  • The marker images/download/thumbnails/409862646/IconError-Explorer-version-1-modificationdate-1531214438846-api-v2.png or images/download/thumbnails/409863577/IconWarning-Explorer-version-1-modificationdate-1531299529291-api-v2.png for the parent objects in a view with projects and resources assists you to find the error even faster.

  • Messages in Problems view inform about errors/warnings in the already saved global-object. Double-click a message to go to the error/warning in the global-variables-editor.

Corrective action: Correct the faulty element and save the object.
