Verification of installation

When developing safety-relevant applications and libraries for them, you must use a version of Neuron Power Engineer that has been released for this purpose. The installed files of such a version must not be modified.

To make it easier to detect modifications, the installation is verified. This means that upon startup, Neuron Power Engineer automatically verifies the installed files. If any modifications are detected, a dialog will inform you that the MD5 validation failed.

When a dialog is display reporting a failed MD5 validation, contact your system integrator to clarify how to proceed.
Alternatively, reinstall Neuron Power Engineer and start the unmodified version.

How to use the dialog:

  1. Click on a row to open the detail view. This information helps identify which part of the installation was modified.

  2. Close the dialog and Neuron Power Engineer by clicking Close.
