Content of this user documentation
This user documentation is on the development environment Neuron Power Engineer that is a tool by Neuron for programming a wide variety of →PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers). Neuron Power Engineer provides comfortable editors for the IEC programming languages →ST (Structured Text), →FBD (Function Block Diagram), →SFC (sequential function chart) and →LD (ladder diagram).

It is possible to create applications in Neuron Power Engineer according to the industry standard IEC 61131-3. In this case, knowledge about this IEC-standard is essential (see glossary item →IEC 61131-3 for links to sources). |
This user documentation is valid for Neuron Power Engineer version 3.27.1.
Scope of the user/reference documentation The documentation contains the descriptions for all officially provided features and GUI (Graphical User Interface) elements of Neuron Power Engineer although it is possible that your Neuron Power Engineer variant contains fewer features and GUI elements (such as menus, commands and buttons). If you think that your Neuron Power Engineer variant should contain some documented features and GUI-elements, please contact your system integrator to clarify whether these features and/or GUI-elements have been deactivated in your Neuron Power Engineer variant due to a profile, the deactivation of bundles or other integrating activities. |
Languages of the user/reference documentation The user/reference documentation is provided in English and German. However, when a new Neuron Power Engineer version is released, it is possible that some parts of the documentation are only provided in English. In this case, please check the online version |
