Editing expression in value field
How to edit expressions in an existing →value field:

Double-click the value field in the →graphical FBD-editor.

Enter the new expression in the value field.
The expression may be an expression according to ST. Hence, it may consist of operands in ST and operators in ST. Examples:-
for a →variable:
var2
Use the content assist in order to comfortably enter an existing variable within the value field: Enter e.g. the charactersVar
to display a list with all variables fitting the input. Then select the required variable from the list. -
for a →literal:

for a variable with an operator:
2 * IN2

Press the Enter-key or click anywhere outside the value field so that the new expression is entered in the value field. Press the ESC-key, if you want to discard the new expression.
If the value field is highlighted as faulty, the new expression is causing an error. Enter another expression or correct the other FBD-logic until the FBD-object does not contain any faulty FBD-elements.
