Functionality
The block returns the amount of slaves that are configured for the →EC-Master.
The slaves are specified in the ENI-file that is created in →EC-Engineer and is required for instance to access the hardware IOs of EtherCAT fieldbuses. If there is no ENI-file, the block returns the amount of slaves found when the EC-master automatically scans the field bus.
