Several tasks influence the behavior of IOs on the Revolution Pi

Symptom:

If you declare severals →tasks within the PLC-object for a Revolution Pi and you load the application onto the Revolution Pi, some IOs of the Revolution Pi are flashing. However, these IOs should be glowing permanently because their value is TRUE.
However, the additional task is not used at all.

Cause:

Applies to logi.CAD 3 version 1.118.0 and 1.119.0: At present, logi.CAD 3 supports one task for the →Revolution Pi only.

Solution:

  1. Install a logi.CAD 3 version ≥ 1.120.0 and a logi.RTS version ≥ 3.31.0.

  2. In this logi.CAD 3 version, import the existing project.

  3. Enhance the PLC-object by the specification for IO_IMPORT as described under "Changing Revolution Pi projects or the runtime system for Revolution Pi to use the generic IO provider".

  4. Load the application onto the Revolution Pi.

Solution for logi.CAD 3 version 1.118.0 and 1.119.0:

  1. Delete the declarations of the superfluous tasks within the PLC-object.

  2. Load the application onto the Revolution Pi again.
