Hardware parameterization using the safety parameter editor
The hardware parameterization is possible in the safety parameter editor.
This safety parameter editor is an →editor that displays the current configuration of the safety-relevant hardware devices as parameters in a →project. In addition, the safety parameter editor makes it possible to edit these parameters – with the exception of the read-only parameters. All changes to the parameters must be confirmed, i.e. accepted, in the safety parameter editor before they can be transferred to the PLC. This transfer to the PLC is done by building the application and loading it to the PLC.
The safety parameter editor is not provided in all variants of logi.CAD 3.
