Closing project

Closing a project may improve the performance of logi.CAD 3. Especially, if there are a lot of opened projects.

How to close a project in logi.CAD 3:

1. Select the project in the view containing the projects/resources.

2. In menu Project or from the context menu for the project, select Close Project.
   Result: The project can no longer be changed and its objects/folders no longer appear within the view (the project folder is displayed as closed). However, the objects/folders still reside on the file system. You can re-open the project at any time.

Before the project is closed, logi.CAD 3 allows you to save changes in objects that have been opened in the →editor. However, if you do not save the changes, the changed objects are still displayed in the editor after the project has been closed but you cannot save such objects anymore. If you want to save the changes, first open the project and then save the objects.
