Toolbar

The toolbar provides buttons for selected commands to trigger actions in logi.CAD 3. Usually, these commands are also available within the menu bar and/or within a →context menu .

There is a main toolbar that is usually displayed directly beneath the menu bar. The content of this toolbar changes based on the active →perspective. Buttons in the toolbar might be enabled or disabled based on the state of either the active →view or →editor.
Moreover, there might be view toolbars. They appear in the title bar of a →view.

Finding out what a toolbar button does

Move the mouse pointer over the button and wait for the tooltip that opens.

Hiding toolbar and showing it again

  • If you do not want to see the toolbar, hide it as follows: menu Window – command Hide Toolbar.

  • The hidden toolbar can be shown again as follows: menu Window – command Show Toolbar

Customizing toolbar

Use the command Customize Perspective... to determine which menus and commands are provided in the toolbar.
