Errors and warnings in LD

This section is intended for the errors/warnings that might occur when creating the logic within the graphical LD-editor (not provided in all variants of logi.CAD 3).

However, it is possible that errors/warnings occur for the LD-editor as when

• entering the ST-code. See "Errors and warnings in ST" for this message and its appropriate solution.

• creating the function block diagram. See "Errors and warnings in FBD" for this message and its appropriate solution.

• validating the application. See "Errors and warnings when validating the application" for this message and its appropriate solution.

Only BOOL data type is allowed.
Solution: Change the data type of the faulty element (e.g. the →variable ) to BOOL.

name cannot be used in functions.
Solution: Insert another logic element of the ladder diagram.

Hardware addresses are not supported. or
Input address is not allowed for coils.
Solution: Delete the faulty characters.

Power rail on the left side should not have another element on the left side. or
Power rail on the right side should not have another element on the right side.
Solution: Open the →textual LD-editor and delete the faulty characters/lines.
