The tab In-/Outputs of the interface editor displays the following elements as they are also declared in the ST-object or the FBD-object (e.g. in the list of the declared variables):

Moreover, the tab displays the return value of a →function as well (icon ).

Columns of the tab

By default, the following columns are visible within this tab:

Column	Meaning
Name	These columns are analogous to the columns with the same name contained within in the list of the declared variables. The possibilities to change the content of these columns are listed under "Changing data for a variable, e.g. the name or the data type". If the possibility is not listed there, the content of the relevant column cannot be changed within the interface editor.

Context menu

Right-clicking inside the tab opens a context menu. This context menu allows you to perform actions. See " Actions within interface editor " for a list of the actions possible within the interface editor.
