Available since	version 1.36.0 (for logi.CAD 3) and version 2.3.1601 of logi.RTS This block is supported for the platform `WindowsX86` (incl. the built-in PLC under Windows). For →Econ 100, this block is only supported until logi.CAD 3 version 3.2.0.

Functionality

The block returns the amount of slaves that are configured for the →EC-Master.
The slaves are specified in the ENI-file that is created in →EC-Engineer and is required for instance to access the hardware IOs of EtherCAT fieldbuses. If there is no ENI-file, the block returns the amount of slaves found when the EC-master automatically scans the field bus.

Internal error diagnostic for block

The block checks the following error case and – if it occurs – the block sets the output ENO of the block to the value FALSE (or an equivalent): The system service has not been loaded.
