Possible exception when creating a project with the same name

Symptom:

If you try to create a new →project with the previous name of another opened project that has been renamed, the following error might be displayed in a dialog:

An internal error occurred during: "project build settings update job".
Cannot invoke "org.eclipse.cdt.core.settings.model.ICProjectDescription.getConfigurations()" because "projDes" is null

Usually, the problem has occurred when the new project has been created shortly after the other project has been renamed.

Workaround: Create the new project with a slightly different name. Or wait about one minute before the new project is created.
