Opening of a larger POU for data debugging takes longer than expected. Scrolling and closing, too.

Symptoms:

  • For debugging of the data, if you double-click a POU in the Instances view in order to monitor values in the ST-viewer, this might take longer than expected. For a POU with about 10,000 code lines, it takes up to 8 minutes before the content is displayed.

  • Afterwards, if you scroll in this POU (hence, within the ST-viewer), there are delays up to 1 minute before the content is refreshed. Sometimes, even the closing of the ST-viewer takes up to 15 seconds.

Workaround: none existing
