Getting support using the OTRS ticket system

This article contains instructions how to use the OTRS ticket system of logi.cals.

Registration to the OTRS ticket system

  1. Mail the following data for a maximum of 2 persons to logi.cals, using the e-mail address support@logicals.com. These 2 persons will be the main contacts for each support request.

    • first name

    • second name (= family name)

    • e-mail address

  2. logi.cals creates the users in the OTRS ticket system of logi.cals, based on the data you have mailed.
    Result: You will receive an e-mail regarding the created user.

  3. Open your web browser and enter the following address: https://support.logicals.com/otrs/customer.pl

  4. Enter your e-mail address that you have sent to logi.cals.

  5. When the login form is displayed, click onto this link: Forgot password? -- This link is highlighted in the following illustration.

    Result: You will receive an e-mail to confirm the new password from the OTRS ticket system.

  6. Click onto the link in this e-mail.
    Result: You will receive a new e-mail with your new password.

  7. Login to the OTRS ticket system with your user name and your new password.
    Result: The welcome screen is displayed. Now you are able to use the OTRS ticket system of logi.cals.

Creating a ticket via e-mail

It is possible to create a support ticket without the web interface of the OTRS ticket system. Just send an e-mail to support@logicals.com. If you will send your e-mail from a company domain, the ticket will automatically be moved to your company ticket view.

Creating a ticket via the web interface

In tab New Ticket, click onto Create your new ticket. Use the displayed form to enter the appropriate data.
