File RTSCode.so is missing. What must I do?

Start logi.CAD 3, create a project, create the application in it, open the perspective Application Testing and load the application onto the target system.

The most likely reason for the missing file ist that you just have put the target system into operation and you have started the →runtime system on it for the first time. As no application has been loaded yet, the runtime system does not find the files that are required for the execution of the application. the runtime system indicates this fact by the following messages:

  • RTOS: error loading shared library "path/PLC/RTSCode.Ext", (flags 00000000)

  • RTS: Resource: initial code image "path/PLC/RTSCode.Ext" not found.

If you are using a Linux-based target system, the file RTSCode.so is looked for. In case of a Windows PC, the file RTSCode.dll is looked for. After an application has been loaded onto the target system, the file RTSCode.so resp. RTSCode.dll exists and the messages will not appear anymore, if the runtime system is restarted.
