A user block cannot be inserted into the FBD-editor by using the content assist

Symptoms:

  • A certain user block is listed in the content assist to be inserted into the FBD-editor but as a matter of fact it is not possible to insert its call.

  • Other user blocks can be inserted by using the content assist without problem.

Workaround in order to insert the block anyway:

Create the call of the user block by dragging the block from the project explorer into the FBD-editor.

Solution so that the user block can be inserted by using the content assist again:

Clean the project.
